"Got you, Nerdy," he whispered playfully in her ear, his breath warm against her skin as he deftly removed the necklace she'd been struggling with. With a smirk, he flicked her nose, enjoying the game.
Without missing a beat, she grabbed his finger, twisting it behind his back with surprising strength. Her eyes blazed as she looked up at him, fierce and unyielding. "Try to touch me one more time, and you'll be going to 'our' honeymoon... in a wheelchair," she warned, her voice dangerously low.
He chuckled, amusement dancing in his eyes as he watched her. He was thoroughly enjoying this fiery side of her, the tigress that had emerged from beneath her soft-spoken exterior.
"Not the soft-spoken girl anymore, huh?" he murmured, his voice a teasing whisper as he twirled her around, pulling her back against his chest.
She exhaled sharply, her voice laced with bitterness. "People change, Mr. Rajvansh. And I despise the person who forced me to change," she whispered, the words cutting through the air like a blade. His heart clenched, a knot tightening in his chest at the pain in her voice.
He held her a moment longer, the weight of her words sinking in. But then, with a soft kiss to her shoulder, he leaned in close, his voice a dark promise. "Just a matter of time, wifey. Just a matter of time."
It was just an arrange marriage OR was it?
