A Love That Shouldn't Exist
Hematite has always loved Gynger in a way she shouldn't. In a way that burned too deep, too dangerously-something fragile and consuming all at once. But instead of confessing, she settled for friendship, convincing herself that having a piece of Gynger was better than losing her entirely. For years, Gynger danced on the blurred lines between them, touching, teasing, and holding Hematite close but never quite enough. She moved in and out of relationships, never looking at Hematite the way she craved to be seen. Until one drunken night, when Gynger kissed her-and then pretended like it never happened. Everything shattered when a toxic friend exposed Hematite's long-buried feelings, unraveling the delicate balance they had maintained. Gynger pulled away, distancing herself and finding solace in a new relationship-with a man. Hematite was left behind, forced to watch as Gynger found stability in someone else, while she drowned in her own emotions. Caught between her obsession with Gynger and the lingering toxicity of her ex, Sevyn -a street-affiliated man who left her broken more times than she could count-Hematite spirals. Her battle with BPD only makes things more volatile. Love turns into obsession, desire twists into destruction, and the lines between passion and pain blur beyond recognition. As fights to untangle herself from the past, she's forced to face the truth: Some love stories aren't meant to have a happy ending. Some love stories are only meant to ruin you. Themes: • Unrequited love and emotional dependence • Psychological turmoil and obsession • Betrayal, self-destruction, and toxic relationships • Dark, slow-burn romance with high emotional stakes • The pain of watching someone you love move on A deeply emotional and darkly intense story filled with longing, regret, and raw passion. A Love That Shouldn't Exist is an aching, slow-burn tragedy about love that was never meant to be-but that refuses to let go.Complete

As she got up to put the first aid away, I stopped her. My thumb rubbed against the cool skin of her hand. I pulled her to sit on my lap. My fingers ran through her hair. "You're doing it again." I ignored her, sinking my chin into her shoulder. "I have no idea what you're talking about." I placed small pecks on neck. Her breathing turning heavy. "Stop. Someone could walk in." "And?
