Do you hear it calling you? Do you see the black inside? Can you get it out in time? Or will it take over your mind? The darkness has chosen you. It cannot be denied. It took up roots inside your heart. Now wonder you're afraid of the dark. The mark of the beast is on your skin. It cannot be erased. You feel the anger and the strength with every step you take. Take a deep breath, it may be your last. For the Dragonfly awakes. . Harrison West never existed. As far as the Union knew. His records were erased, and anyone who had known him, was dead. He was on the run from the council, and from a secret underground circle of dark, powerful people claimed by the mark of the dragonfly. If he disobeyed the mark, he would die, but if he did what it said, he would kill innocent people. Torn between light and dark, Harrison learns of a way he can save his people: By finding the chosen one, Charlotte Griffin. Charlotte Griffin was just another member of the Union, or so everyone thought. Strange things started happening in her society, one of the boys in her academy, Isaac, went missing. And the members of the council were covering it up. Charlie wanted to know why. Digging into this mystery could land her dead, but Charlie was to curious for her own good. She had to know where Isaac had gone, and who this new mysterious boy that had shown up after he went missing was. Little did she know she was about to get caught in between a more dangerous war than the one that destroyed half the earth. And it was all up to her to save everything.

"When pain struck, I took it like an honor" Amber Wolf wasn't meant to be here in the first place. Living with her sister in a house in middle of the woods should've been the only thing she should be worried about. She was wrong about it all. Everything from the day she sat on that bus had been strange, from the necklace her mother gave to the weird writings in her sisters book, it would all make sense in the end. For the worst. __________________________ "She was infected, she could have killed the girls with the virus she had in her" The masked man said, as he went out of the house, slamming the door behind him. I saw my mom leaning against the chair with no movement. I looked at this scene shocked, wanting to go and kill that man by shooting him with my gun, but I knew I could do nothing. I stood there watching, and feeling helpless and not knowing what to do. I looked outside and saw that the bus had already left, with my younger self in it. Then I saw the masked man with two other people and he was talking to them about something, I went closer and eavesdropped. What I heard was beyond my imagination."
