The Perspective of a Divination Teacher

It was ironic. That the new fifth year, the hero of hogwarts, would become so ordinary. That her life filled with dark magic, mysteries, friendships, and adventure would morph into this mundane life.
Alys Peregrine was different now. Her pessimistic lover Ominis Gaunt, well rather Ominis Peregrine, was deceased, thankfully a peaceful death.
Her other friends going into fruitful careers, following passions and making families or new inventions. The list could go on and on.

But Alys decided against it. While she loved her adventures, it got draining and there wasn't much to do with her ancient magic anymore. So she decided to become a teacher, like professor Fig.

Though Alys's students aren't as... chaotic as her back in her youth, they definitely have character.
