After five years away, the Bridgerton family revisits their tradition of spending the summer holidays at their ancestral home, Aubrey Hall. A lot has changed and with several new additions to the family, they haven't had a chance to properly spend time together. One constant, however, is Penelope, his sister's best friend, who is practically a member of the family. Colin hasn't seen her in a long time, and her presence now tilts his world on its axis and sends it plummeting into the abyss.
Or the one in which:
Colin's feelings smack him across the face like a fucking sledgehammer blow. His childhood friend has transformed into a walking goddess,
and he struggles not to drool around her.
Eloise thinks he is acting like a fucking idiot.
Colin is, in fact, acting like a fucking idiot.
He realizes he is a boobs-man.
And God, it seems, doesn't give a shit (otherwise, Colin wouldn't be going through this, right?)
