The games occur every year, once a chosen human in one of the academies turn 18, they participate in a life or death situation infamously known as the 'vampire games' to which I am sure you can guess why.

The comfort of humanity is long gone, 30 years ago the vampires took over, regarding us as mere objects that could be used for their pleasure. But, King Silas was worst of all, he led humans to their fate and it was never a pleasant sight. If you had told me a year ago our paths would cross I would have never of believed you.
