This is the story of two people, where they come from and where they end up. Everything they've gone through that bring them together. Dante Rivera and Maybelle Martinez have both suffered in life, being in the system, in and out of group homes and hospitals. Somehow, it all led to them.

*Written in P.O.V* Horn and Cuts have been friends for a short while. They bond over their strange nicknames and tragic pasts. They have always been rather close, even when they first met. As of recently, they have started dating, but with their relationship comes problems. Horn smokes marijuana to cope with his problems and Cuts suffers from dermatillomania, a disease that causes him to pick, scratch, and rub his skin. Cuts already has very thin and fragile skin that scars extremely easily, hence his nickname. With his condition, his skin only ever gets worse. Horn is trying his best to help, but he can only do so much. They are both trying to solve each other's problems while also trying to fix their own.
