Shadow Demon: Sanemi x Reader

Y/n childhood was a nightmare and the only thing that kept her going was her best friend Mitsuri. One day when her and Mitsuri were out playing in the woods far from the village when a group of bandits came and tried to kidnap them to sell them. Y/n saved Mitsuri by sacrificing herself so she could get away. Years later Y/n escaped by killing her captors but the problem is she is no longer human. She can't bear to face her child her friend since she is ashamed of being an experiment that turned her half demon. She decides to go from village to village to rescue people from real demons. She ends up taking in an orphan boy and teaches how to fight and protect himself. What y/n didn't know was that 3 hashira were on their way to the village she was currently staying at hearing that there a strong demon there that might be one of the upper moons. What will happen to y/n when that hashira mistaken her for the upper moon? Will Mitsuri recognize her childhood friend? And will Sanemi let her live even though she hasn't even eaten human?
