Delores didn't have a very happy childhood. She was abandoned as a baby and raised on the streets of New York. In spite of her hard upbringing, she was what all who knew her described as 'sunshine personified'. Always cheerful and always optimistic, Delores could make the most out of any situation. Including her odd superhuman abilities.

Delores can shapeshift, transforming herself to look like anyone she comes into physical contact with. The only catch is that once she becomes them, she truly becomes them. Their personality, their memories, their powers, all become hers. The only way she can turn back into herself is by pressing on the birthmark on her wrist.

But now, the world has ended, and all Delores could think to do to save herself from the apocalypse is to transform into a cockroach. It is there, upon returning to her human form, that she meets Five Hargreeves, a fellow superhuman teenager, who like her is the last survivor of the apocalypse.

It is only after they have lived a long and somewhat happy life together, growing old together in the apocalypse, that they are recruited by The Commission to monitor and correct the timeline of the world. From there, they concoct a plan to go back in time, a week before the apocalypse, and help Five's superpowered siblings save the world. The only problem?

They are now an old married couple trapped in their teenage bodies.
