Alex wasn't really special, he was just like every normal young adult in their early twenties. He worked as a cashier in a grocery store and somehow managed to make a living in a small apartment. He mostly games to pass his days and nights, so it was safe to say his family wasn't all that proud of him.
But will his life remain so normal when he suddenly finds himself standing as one of the last humans on their planet?
Will his life remain boring when he finds out about hybrids, mystical beings, and magic?
Will his life remain safe when more than half of the hybrids and magical humans have it out to kill the human species, people like himself? And when he finds allies who help him along the way in finding the solution to saving the human race, will everything truly go the way he wishes?

Alex Thompson was due to marry her high school sweet heart Eric Ramirez. Period. That's it. It's about as exciting as her life ever got really. She had a job, a good job but an unconscious reality was that she was bored. She had her back blown out once every three months, if that, and an overbearing mother who made her life hell. *enter Mitch* Eve 'Mitch' Mitchell. An outgoing, strong minded, independent, raging homosexual, lover to all, charming British soul. They meet by accident after a tough day at the office for Alex. A mistaken identity was all it took for a tiny little kiss. A moment blown all out of proportion for the Christian-bred Miss Thompson and her life turns more miserable than she anticipated for every time she turned around...Mitch was there behind her. Something about Mitch was new and fresh and her soul was just what Alex needed (little did she know). Secrets from the past are brought to the surface. A sad ending to a young lady's life. A realisation that family isn't always blood related. Alcohol isn't a medicine. Violence isn't a key. Hearts were never meant to be broken. Two things to take away: you never know what is going on in someone's head and the most important thing...you never know what happens behind closed doors. A/N just a random story about two people who meet accidentally. Plays with gender norms and very inclusive of LGBTQ (being a member myself). Could be triggering I'm not sure as some identity questions are thrown around. It does include smoking, drinking, some homophobia, profanities, violence and smut. Evander, a young boy who was supposedly kicked out of his tribe and raised by flying snake-tailed lions basically his entire life, finds out that he and another kid are part of a very important prophecy that could stop the big war that's going on. Before he does anything, however, he has to find the other child of the prophecy before anyone else does to fulfill the prophecy. Will the perilous journey through tribe territory get him killed because of his so-called "dangerous" abilities or will he survive long enough to see the war finally come to an end as he's always hoped it would? What We Could Have, Where We Could Go
WARNING: this book includes guns and physical violence. Feel free to click off if any of that makes you uncomfortable. This world is full of endless possibilities. Hybrids of all kinds, monsters which roamed the night, creatures everywhere! I could go anywhere, do whatever I wanted. Nothing could stop me!! That was until I came across these little villages and my mother always told me to stay away from them. "They see us as something wrong. They'll hurt and torture you, so promise me you'll stay away from them." My mother told me. I never thought much of it, but it always made me curious what was there. - Scott gasped as he realized he was late. This was his big day, he couldn't fail his parents by skipping. Scott ran towards the forest and banged into the wooden shed, grabbing the bow and satchel of arrows before dashing out to his post. The forest floor crunched beneath him and he panted quietly as he kneeled down. A twig snapped and Scott gasped as he saw bears and lions surround him. Scott shot at them and the arrow hit one of the lions, which all started to chase him. Scott screamed for help as he ran, trying to get out. Trying to find others who could actually save and protect him. ~•~ Scott is a hunter, who is actually a big scaredy cat and longs for a life different than the one he has, and Jimmy is a free bird who can do basically anything he wants. It all changes when Scott and Jimmy meet. Hybrids end up showing up more, some getting captured and hurt. After Scott realizes how bad his life is, he tries to make a getaway and Jimmy shows him the life he could have. (Cover art is not mine) This work belongs to me, @Seth189. You weren't supposed to be alive, and Arkin wasn't supposed to survive. You weren't exactly happy, but you were surviving in your little life with your abusive father and his whore of a stripper girlfriend. And then you saw a man throw someone down the flight of stairs next to your apartment. Throwing caution to the wind, you didn't care what happened next. You just didn't know you'd get a friend, a family, and maybe even a lover. But Arkin can't run from the past for forever. Only question is, how much is he willing to risk to keep you safe? ***** Many of you may remember my story Basically Strangers. This is the better version, rewritten to make more sense. Its yandere x nonbinary reader. I've changed the story and edited the characters. The reader uses they/them pronouns. Okay, so. This is going to be a weird thing to say, but Arkin has a caregiver personality towards the reader. Anyone who knows about or takes part in age regression will recognize that fairly quickly. If his personality and actions make you uncomfortable, stop reading. Don't get mad at me for my character. This was originally based on the idea of "I like you and literally nobody else".
