Alex wasn't really special, he was just like every normal young adult in their early twenties. He worked as a cashier in a grocery store and somehow managed to make a living in a small apartment. He mostly games to pass his days and nights, so it was safe to say his family wasn't all that proud of him.
But will his life remain so normal when he suddenly finds himself standing as one of the last humans on their planet?
Will his life remain boring when he finds out about hybrids, mystical beings, and magic?
Will his life remain safe when more than half of the hybrids and magical humans have it out to kill the human species, people like himself? And when he finds allies who help him along the way in finding the solution to saving the human race, will everything truly go the way he wishes?

What We Could Have, Where We Could Go
WARNING: this book includes guns and physical violence. Feel free to click off if any of that makes you uncomfortable. This world is full of endless possibilities. Hybrids of all kinds, monsters which roamed the night, creatures everywhere! I could go anywhere, do whatever I wanted. Nothing could stop me!! The forest floor crunched beneath him and he panted quietly as he kneeled down. A twig snapped and Scott gasped as he saw bears and lions surround him. Scott shot at them and the arrow hit one of the lions, which all started to chase him. Scott screamed for help as he ran, trying to get out. Trying to find others who could actually save and protect him. ~•~ Scott is a hunter, who is actually a big scaredy cat and longs for a life different than the one he has, and Jimmy is a free bird who can do basically anything he wants. It all changes when Scott and Jimmy meet. Hybrids end up showing up more, some getting captured and hurt. After Scott realizes how bad his life is, he tries to make a getaway and Jimmy shows him the life he could have. (Cover art is not mine) This work belongs to me, @Seth189. "What are we doing Alex?" He breathes against my lips. That's too sensible of a question, so I ignore it. My brain has yet to return to my body, and right now that is the last thing I'm worried about. "Stay." I whisper against his mouth, my words flowing without any thought. "Stay?" Two things to take away: you never know what is going on in someone's head and the most important thing...you never know what happens behind closed doors.
