In a world where humans are the minority and other creatures rule, a small group of humans form a resistance group in their school. After the group is met with heavy fire, (quite literally, flames) they run for the woods with no chance of redemption in their small town.

They're barely able to live and support eachother until one of them comes across a man who claims he'd been looking for them, and wants to form an aided resistance of his own. In a time when supplies are low and injuries are high, the pressure is on for them to prove their worth as humans to a group of powerful (and rather handsome) supernaturals.
