The Runaway
Anne is a couple months away from turning eighteen and is always left alone, since her mom and her mom's boyfriend are always gone on mostly business. She's used to it by now and mainly keeps to herself, ever since she was bullied too severe for a few years that caused her to go into a deep depression state to where she felt helpless. Eventually, her mother let her do home school. Her so called friends either moved away or for some unknown reason had abandoned her and joined the 'bully' squad and made her feel alone. She's never had a boyfriend and now that she had finished school, despite the deal she made with her mom, she feels she needs to leave the small town and get away from everybody. So she takes out every cent from her bank account and leaves on a bus to wherever it will take her to then once at the last stop, she'll decide what to do from there. Little does she know that before she gets a chance to even message her mother that she is alright, she unexpectedly gets caught in the middle of a dangerous encounter and gets hurt while trying to escape, causing her to blackout. Next morning when she wakes up, she finds out she's in the house of the same guy that was part of the fight. Fearful of her life, she soon realizes that she has no choice but to stay there at the house until his boss figures out what to do with her. Johnny's a 25 year old, fearful Mafia Boss who doesn't care who you are. If you get in his way, you will pay for it and if you cross him, that will be the last thing you ever do. He is ruthless and has little to no patience for anyone. Sympathy and pity does not run through his veins. You'll never see him smile even. Love doesn't exist in his world and he always shoots straight from the hip. So when he ends up finding out he has a new guest that was brought to his home out of pity, he becomes infuriated and outraged and must decide quickly how he wants to handle the situation.
