Princess Alexandria Alessi's life has turned upside down in the blink of an eye. Only a few days ago, she was enjoying a clandestine summer shopping with her best friend at the local mall. A horrible tragedy struck as her mother, a dedicated lawyer, was shot while escorting a client to a hearing, barely surviving the ordeal. That very same night, Alexandria narrowly escaped a mysterious house fire. Now, she journeys to Osané to spend the summer with her newly discovered grandmother and learn the ways of royalty in a country she never knew existed. Her entire world has been turned upside down, even as 'Allie' begins to live as the girl she's always hidden. Can she adapt to her new royal role? Will she be safe amidst unknown dangers and enemies? What will life be like far from home?

Royal Performer is the second in the Suddenly Royal series, following the first book by the same title.

Eventually, the princess of Rosevale, Anneliese Rose, saw her, and felt pitiful, taking her in and allowing her to become her trusted maid.
