Hugo Miller was seventeen years old when he lost his family when he discovered his powers. He was told he could get them back if he joined the commissionafter they saw how powerfulhe was, so that's what he did. What a big lie. When he was paired with Mr. Five Hargreaves he went through the portal Five had created to get back to his family.

Five was pissed at Hugo. He was never supposed to come along, and now Five was stuck with Hugo, trying to save his family from the apocalypse.
