2d and Murdoc had gotten married. Specifically in January, 2020, meaning they had barely gotten married just a month before. The green skinned man had prompted the idea initially as a joke but both the lanky bluenet and him decided to agree upon it just to see what came out of it since they were... Basically dating at that point they guessed...? It was a very intriguing case since the only thing that could be tied to a possible romantic partnership was the fact that they had both soberly and drunkenly had sex many times, as well as gone on informal dates such as going out at night to goof around and possibly get some takeout food from burger stands.
The two of them never took their whole "thing" seriously, they simply took each other as lovers after some while. So, they guessed that marriage was a good next step.
