When Lanah Harrington was plopped down in the middle of Hawkins, a small town in Indiana, the only thing she was looking forward to was reconnecting with her cousin, Steve. After all, armed with crippling social anxiety, she could barely leave his house. But when he convinces her to step outside her comfort zone and get a job at a local auto shop, her world gets turned upside down. Because now, she's met Eddie, a fellow mechanic who seems determined to break her out of her shell and out into the real world, one conversation at a time. Set approximately 10 years after the events of Stranger Things 4.

A Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson fanfiction. This will contain difficult topics so please read at your own risk. I hope you enjoy this story just as much as I enjoyed writing it. The topics included will consist of grieving, selfharm, drug use, homophobia and violence. Other Stranger Things characters will have strong parts in the story, of course. I would never leave them out! They will all be there. This story will have some links to the true events of which occur in Stranger Things but it will really only be links and references. The story ranges in location between Hawkins and California but it will be clear who is where and when, so it shouldn't get confusing. If you are going to read this, thankyou! I truly hope you enjoy. - CJ
