Many people may not even know who is Niraj K Pawan, so let us tell you that he is considered to be a dashing and dynamic IAS officer of Rajasthan. He is considered to be the first result-oriented officer who never compromised with administrative ideals, honesty, or integrity. Niraj K Pawan has also received the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Award.

ACB raid IAS "Neeraj K Pawan" - News

On Wednesday, May 18, 2016, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Rajasthan raided the residence and office of IAS officer Neeraj K Pawan and three other officers in response to a complaint of irregularities in the NRHM tendering process.

The raid is taking place at 15 locations, including the officers' homes and offices, said IG ACB Dinesh MN.  He stated that there was a report of anomalies in the tendering process against Niraj K Pawan while he was the Additional Director for the National Rural Health Mission.

Pawan, a 2003 batch IAS officer, is now working as a commissioner in the Agriculture Department. Others who are on the ACB's radar include the Additional Director, Accounts Officer, and storekeeper at the NRHM office while Pawan was deployed there, he claimed.

High Court: What happened to Neeraj K Pawan after the ACB raid?

On Friday, a solitary High Court bench awarded relief to IAS official Neeraj K Pawan and urged that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) not take any disciplinary action against him in the seven-year-old fraud and corruption case.

"Neeraj supporters claim that he was falsely accused of being part of a plot. The matter is now pending before the court."
