It was the year 2020
The world was at peace, al least between the superpowers USA and USSR. Over 30 years ago, after realising the tremendous cost of the cold war both the powers signed the Washington-Moscow accords ending the cold war. Mikhail Gobarchev was able to completely implement his reforms saving the USSR from certain collapse and economically rejuvenating it. Both nations prospered despite suspicions and trust issues, both were having good times.
Until in June 7, 2020 a gate opens with a fantasy army attacks the capitals of Washington and Moscow , massacring and enslaving many people. Both powers are having a thirst for vengeance.
Soon the world of Celestia will face the WRATH of Uncle Sam and Mother Russia.

After the Third World War, in 2026, Earth experienced what the people called, "the Great Calamity". this world wide disaster destroyed much of the worlds nations, but leaving North America and the Caribbean. left with no choice what was left of the old world went into isolation. after years of fighting in North America, the United States Of America was left, the sole surviving nation of the old world. with what technology they had, the US has vowed to keep the memory of the old and free the new of lies. and there's nothing to stop them from doing it. After many years of warfare between Russian warlords, one emerged victorious. It was the Novosibirsk and Altai Federation led by Alexander Pokryshkin. After many years, Russia was united again and renamed the Russian Federation. (1972) Vasily Shukshin won the first election for President of this newly created country and his cabinet introduced numerous reforms from administration to climate protection. Finally, the country prepared itself for its greatest test. To war with the Greater Germanic Reich and its henchmen. Its aim was to recapture and save lost lands and people who were treated as slaves in the Reichskommissariats. The war began in 1976 and ended in 1978 with the complete victory of the Federation forces, along with the support of the troops of Kazakhstan and the Republic of New Poland. After months, the former Reichskommissariats were integrated back into the Federation. However, the President's office did not stop there. An uprising broke out in the General Government (Poland) under the leadership of the clergyman Karol Wojtyła. Similar uprisings broke out in Armenia and Mongolia. Once these countries were free of their oppressors, the Federation could set itself a final goal. Send its citizen into space. It happened in 1982 when Gherman Titov in the Soyuz 1 rocket flew into Earth orbit and returned safely to land. How will the central powers and the entente react to this sudden change? how would the people and the great minds of science perceive this? how will they react to the confrontative nature of the native people of the new world?
