Chuuya stared into the eyes of the man who never once made his feelings public to the world, a glimmer of desire hesitating to peek through. "Are you longing for something?" Chuuya asked, the words immediately followed by regret. "Not exactly." Dazai said, his words echoing through the streets. Chuuya held his breath. "Though I am longing for an answer." Chuuya sat an inch away from the bandaged man but the atmosphere felt as if they were touching. "Chuuya?" Dazai paused, his breath hitching at the name. "Why did you answer my text?"

After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle.
