War has taken over in both Piltover and Zaun. Piltover and its new Sheriff Caitlyn strategizes with new hextech weaponry as she and her allies debate how best to approach Zaun. Vi battles internally with herself over what she really wants. When Vi and Cait come together to fight for justice, Caitlyn must convince Vi to stay with the cause while Vi struggles to keep Cait from being consumed by vengeance. Through the war, Caitlyn and Vi must both keep track of their priorities and make several personal decisions that may change the fate of their cities forever.

Chapter 32 is up! Did I already mention this story is a tragedy? Well sorry in advance 'cause you can probably tell why now. Anyways I just alway thought the CaitVi subplot would be the perfect tragedy, given the tragic nature of Arcane S1, I was so sure that they would capitalize on it in S2. But am I happy that they're canonically together? Yes.

Two-Sided (Arcane x Male Reader)
The people of The Underground were never the luckiest pair. Only a special few were lucky, lucky enough to get the privileges of the topside. The (L/n)s were an example of such lucky people of Zaun. But even then they wouldn't be safe in Piltover. Vander, the brother of the woman who married (F/n) (L/n), warned his sister that they wouldn't be safe and how right he was when the family was murdered by corrupted enforcers. The child managed to defend himself but even it was self defense, it wouldn't be seen that way to the people of Piltover. They accused the boy for murdering just for the heck of it. But it was in that particular moment the boy knew that the topside will always think their better then the Underground. And with that knowledge he swore to avenge his parents by detroying the councilors of the oh so great Piltover. After escaping a death sentence and leaving his first love and friend behind, he seeks for his uncle in Zaun's Undercity and hopes to avenge his parents when he gets stronger. (I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. The whole cult-exploding put a rift in their relationship, but they are mending and expanding it slowly.Complete
