Do not question the biology of the puppets. They don't have bodily fluids, besides tears and stomach acid. They do need to eat and drink, but they don't have organs, really, besides their heart, lungs, and stomach. Don't ask where it goes, they're living puppets, I'm not gonna attempt to make sense of it.
