In desperate need of a bone marrow transplant, Bessie reaches out to Lee, who she hasn't seen in years, hoping that she or her children might be compatible donors.
Hank, one of Lee's teenage son. He's a troubled young man who has had a difficult relationship with his mother and struggles with anger and rebellious behavior.
