15 year-old Isaac Maldonado lives with his mother and younger brother, his father went missing 9 years ago.
Isaac lives an ordinary life in California, due to his mother's remarriage he lives under the protection of the worldwide known gang, the Bloods. It's November 18, 10 more days until Isaac would turn 16, but it also meant another year without seeing his father. Everything was going well, the day of Isaac's 16th birthday approached. Until one day the gang was attacked by their rivals, the Crips. The attack lasted 2 hours, shortly afterwards the infamous gang was attacked by what seemed to be grown men, they seemed to be invincible to everything bullets didn't affect them, fire didn't scare them, broken bones didn't affect them. What were these humanlike creatures? They seemed to enjoy human flesh. No one could figure out what they were, they seemed to smell our fear, they devoured the Crips, then and only then did Isaac know what they were, the living dead.
