It all starts out with Kris coping with her life trying to be as happy as she can be .While hiding behind a fake reality and the struggles she has to live with ,even with herself. Life is good for now for the 15 yr. old until she realizes it's not and breaks and turns into the person she's always known she was. Everything changes once she meets apart of the world she'd hoped she wouldn't see again . And that part comes after her chasing in her dreams and nightmares literally destroying her life.
