The names flash through her head. Everything reminds Ana of her best friends. The simplest things are the most painful. Occasionally, she'd come across the special things that they shared, like a stuffed animal from the carnival they went to together, a pencil she forgot to give back. They were so happy...
Then the accident happened. It took away everything. "Cora! Ema! Lizzie! Angie!" She remembered screaming. She was bitter and angry. It was all over in less than a second. Gone. And her best friends left her with nothing.
Ana will never forget anything, but the simple things will still remind her.

--So much on this earth is a miracle. But we fail to see them -- Two friends. One ceremony. One terrible accident. When Jade ended up with something life changing, she thought everything was over for her. And maybe it was. Someone can light a small flame of hope in everyone of us. But sometimes it turns into an inferno and burns us all. I had to write this for a school project and my friend said it was pretty good, so now I'm just "Jesus take the wheel" I got inspired by Disney's "Encanto", but the storyline and the characters are made by me.
