Roxy Rae Marshall is a complicated girl. Sure, from the perspective of others she had it all but no book is able to be judged by its cover, not hers anyway. Her cover was delicately crafted with gold thread and the purest of white paper, an angelic glow beaming out of the front pages just begging to be read. But who is she kidding? You think any snobbish kook is going to bother to analyse a book?

And none of them did, sure Rafe Cameron skimmed through a few pages but he was never really the grammatical type. Not in Roxy's story anyway.

But there seemed to be another book on the shelf, one she had missed. This one was tatted, the spine broken, the ink splotched. It seemed to have been picked up by many girls before but only for a night. Then returned again and pushed to the back, out of sight for the young rich girl. Although, the author of this particular book sure as hell was begging to get his hands on her story. To maybe re-write her so called happy ending.

After all, what's a good story without a little mystery?
