World Ending Evolution

the world as we know it is coming to an end. the awakening of the planet brings about endless changes, opportunities and danger. I was just a normal American citizen before the awakening, like everyone else trying to survive the constant increase in cost of .. everything ( but not our paychecks). then the hurricane hit the Gulf and everything began to change if only the world had some kind of warning.. some way to prepare for this world ending disaster then maybe I wouldn't have to die a the hands of someone I trusted.
