Farah was raised like everyone else in the town. That is, raised to fear the forest. There's shadows in there, and within the darkness, monsters writhe. Every now and then, a child goes missing, swallowed up by the shadows and gone forever.
Farah was supposed to be one of those children.
By some strange miracle, she escapes a certain fate in the darkness of the woods, but it's not until several years later, when a man with striking green eyes is captured from the very forest everyone is wary of, that Farah's past comes back to bite her.
There are secrets about the forest no one really knows, secrets about the kingdoms residing there and the beings ruling them. Secrets Farah will be forced to know, for despite everything she tries to do to deny it, she's been claimed and as such destined to be a queen of a place she's been terrified of her entire life.

Woah look an actual cover!!! This is a interpretation of events that happened to me in my life. In case your wondering, my name is not Jay. Far From Earth, Close To Home is a story of a girl named Jay, who woke up in a very odd situation, and began to question her sanity. After a short 1/10 of a chapter of that, she finds herself in a pine forest with a town in it. She meets people there, mostly younger kids, some older, around 18. For some reason, no adults. She learns that this place is threatened by a force, and she is part of it. She also finds out the leader of Said force is trying to use her as a last hope, but with her, the town could be saved. She is given a choice between good and evil. And when she chooses good, the leader doesn't back down. What's he up to? (This story is intended to leave holes and be confusing, or at some points, irrational.)Concluida

There are creatures crawling the forest ground. Creatures that Luna can't fight off on her own. Creatures that should not even be humanly possible. She has the really bad feeling that someone or something is with her more of a fear that their is something out there watching her and waiting for her to make a bad move and sadly enough her fear of that comes true and she never saw it coming, at least not this way.Concluida
