Farah was raised like everyone else in the town.  That is, raised to fear the forest.  There's shadows in there, and within the darkness, monsters writhe.  Every now and then, a child goes missing, swallowed up by the shadows and gone forever.
Farah was supposed to be one of those children.
By some strange miracle, she escapes a certain fate in the darkness of the woods, but it's not until several years later, when a man with striking green eyes is captured from the very forest everyone is wary of, that Farah's past comes back to bite her.
There are secrets about the forest no one really knows, secrets about the kingdoms residing there and the beings ruling them.  Secrets Farah will be forced to know, for despite everything she tries to do to deny it, she's been claimed and as such destined to be a queen of a place she's been terrified of her entire life.All Rights Reserved
