What if you woke up in the past when you were 18 years old, at a time when your life was full of excitement and adventure? Sounds good, right? Well, Elouise Roces woke up in the year when she was 18, and she's thrilled because it feels so good to be young again! You know, waking up in the past can be a second chance at everything-you can reconnect with old friends, and you have the opportunity to correct any mistakes you made before. Masamang kalabanin ang tadhana. When I stepped inside that horrifying machine, I was aware of the high possibility that I might not make it back alive. I was aware of the dangers of traveling through time. Bakit ko parin ginawa? Because I believe in happy endings. "And that's how everything started." Said mom. I looked at her as she caresses my hair. The bruises on her face and arm still distracts me. I can't believe that she ended up with a good for nothing guy. "Mom, I swear to God that I'm gonna get us out of this place." I promised her. She gave me a sweet smile, the one that never fails to calm my heart. A tear fell from her right eye. Mom's left eye was blinded three years ago because of my step father. That's why only her right eye can cry. "Go to bed. Hindi ka tatangkad kung magpupuyat ka." Said mom. I gave her a kiss on the forehead before I stood up and went outside of her room. It breaks my heart to see her like that. Kung may kapangyarihan lang sana ako I'd travel through time kung saan ang totoong dad ko and my mom were still together. If I'd be given a chance to do that, gagawin ko ang lahat para hindi sila magkahiwalay. So that I will never ever see my mom cry again. That's why I made up my mind. I will rewrite the past. I will save my mother and give her the happy ending she deserve. Babaguhin ko ang nakaraan kahit agawin man nito sa akin ang kinabukasan. Hello Roses! After a three year hiatus, I am finally back! To the readers of The Rose, I apologize for the not updating the story for a long time - really long time. I was busy at work and school, and so I had to postpone updating it. A family member of mine encouraged me to continue writing the story. She was delighted to see the positive comments you guys left, and no one appreciates it more than I do. It truly makes me happy! Now, I promise you that I will keep you updated with fresh chapters every week to keep the story going. I re-read the entire story, and I found out that there are a lot of things to improve(grammar, scenarios, plot), and so I decided to edit the entire story starting from the very beginning(this occupied most of my time). Yes, please feel free to re-read the story from the very beginning because a lot of scenarios were added for your convenience! :) I apologize in advance to the readers for the grammar/spelling/typo mistakes. No excuses, I am obviously not an expert! However, please feel free to message me for the corrections anytime, and I would gladly edit it. Lastly, napansin niyo siguro - bakit parang ang tagal magka-developan nung mga bida? At bakit ang dami nilang dialogues together? Well, that is because I want the lead characters to create a memorable time together. You will figure out what I mean as you read along .
