Rowdy is a small-town star, from his overkill good looks, unusually high IQ, and less than a secret, bad boy reputation. Yet, there might be something deeper to discover despite his outward appearance.

Lacey has never been the type to follow the lead of what many others do in her social circle. She is a killjoy when it comes to parties, drinking, and hitting a home run in relationships. She remains pure and driven solely by her unquenchable thirst to become number one in the nation as a dressage rider. Lacey has too much on her plate to become distracted. Until one colt is too stubborn to break. And Lacey is desperate to call in Rowdy, a well-known colt-starting cowboy to get him ready for her.
