Harry enters a bookstore one day and sees an extremely cute book boy restocking the shelves. Harry, of course, being the shy boy he is doesn't dare go say anything to the boy. So Harry just gets his books and heads to the check out counter.

The boy is now behind the counter scanning other people out, when Harry gets to the counter he gives the boy his books asking about this new book he heard about that he couldn't find. The boy tells him that they're sold out but when they get a new shipment Harry could have one shipped to his house. Harry agrees and leaves his address waving bye to the boy.

Every day after that Harry would wake up to a new note, with a different pet name on it for a few weeks after signed with a "From your secret admirer, L x". The last day the note comes attached to the book Harry had been waiting for, with a phone number for Harry to call his "secret admirer."

Or the one where Harry has a secret admirer who leaves him notes each day until the last day there's a number to call.
