"Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't.

I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. 
I longed for more.
With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!"

I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right? I messed up big time, and I'll bear the consequences for it all.

I just have one wish though...

My mother always told me when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When someone knocks you down, you get right back up. You fight the good fight until you have nothing left. You fight with honor, you protect the ones you love, and if you just happen to die in the process, than you do so with dignity and grace. What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing. By the end of The Certainty, Georgiana Vertigo is left with nothing more than her life, something many people would be more than happy to have. However, Georgiana is left to her own devices in a strange city, alone and heartbroken with regular intense bouts of depression. In starting a new life with the Guild, Georgiana has everything she needs in order to move on with her life and keep her mind off the past. Only problem is, the past is never truly forgotten and no matter how hard you try to shake them, the feelings that go along with the memories don't just fade away. ~ * ~ Alright, chickens. You asked for it (some of you at least) and here it is...well...part of it. Like I've told a few of you, this is a work in progress. I add pieces to it when I think of them. The posting on this story will NOT be regular but thankfully for you, I have quite a bit of it done. I just haven't decided if the path I take it down is the right one. So. I hope you enjoy it and I will give you a forewarning that as the story progresses, it gets a bit more adult. For those of us just joining the party because they stumbled across it in the Paranormal category, there is a whole series of books you have to read until you get to this one. "Okay, now get out of my way," he demanded walking past me. "No, wait-" I was cut off by Dylan throwing me over his shoulder. He scooped me up so easily as if I didn't weigh much. His arm was strong holding my waist securely and his shoulder was comfortable under my stomach. Once upon a time, there was a normal girl going through High School. She had really rich parents and she got everything she wanted. Everyone loved her because of how sweet she was. She was completely healthy as well so she lived happily ever after! Wait! Cut! That is not my life story at all! Let me tell you the real story... Once upon a time, there was an awkward 17-year-old girl going through High School. She had never met her parents and had to live with her idiotic older brother, William Johnson. They were not rich at all. They didn't even have a house to sleep in. Most people in her school hated her because of how sweet and bubbly she was but she was just trying to make them happy. And let's just say she had a very deadly disease as well. Now that is the life story of me; Naomi Johnson. And I don't believe in two things; 1. Happily ever afters 2. Hope Because I can't just hope that my life will be happily ever after because I know it's not.

All my life iv been alone. I grew up in an orphanage where my mom dropped me off at 6months and never looked back. She gave them all my documents and told them every month she going to deposit money for my up keep and she did. Every month the nuns at my orphanages will dance like craZy when the money goes through cause that means that our doors will be open for one more month. When I was 5 the orphanage changed it name to Zibusiso Care. My name and we started receiving funding like crazy allowing our kids to go to the best schools in SA that also giving me an opportunity to grow. When I was 18 I had to leave to study and I did go and did communication and bagging a degree. Than on my graduation day which is today, i received a letter of appointment to come for an interview as a project manager to one of the biggest and world known company and am in nerves. Bare in mind iv never applied there. That the story of my life, things just happen for me. Just like how I got a letter of this apartment am staying at, just like how its got furniture to all the things that I love and adore and just like how BMW called for me to fetch my car and I got there its a blue M series just like how my phone rings now and than and I get what I need at that specific time. My name is Zibusiso Mae and this is my story called hidden. In this story we going to laugh, we going to cry and we going to enjoy every moment of it. But mostly we going to enjoy... I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. I like inflicting pain. Not on others but on myself. Some people would call me depressed but I'm not. If anything the pain makes me happy. I started "self harming" at the mere age of nine. Or at least, that's what she called it. My therapist, I mean. She ended up giving me a life time supply of antidepressants and some shitty advice. I'm now eighteen, rotting in jail, and awaiting my death sentence.
