Julia never imagined she would sail on any boat other than her parents, yet fate decided to rip her away. Being a pirate, she swore revenge, something they are good at. Luckily for her, an old friend from across the sea is willing to aid her to repay a debt. Just like the ocean waves, the road to revenge is unpredictable. Testing love, drowning friends, and memories washing up on the beach. The waves follow the hunt ready to swallow those who fail.

Ride the Waves (Author's Edit), écrit par BlvckDivmond

(I've decided to edit and re-publish one of my most successful books here on this platform, now as a mature writer. Ride the Waves is a book I began writing at 17 years old-now 10 years later it has amassed many fans and many reads. Also in the space of 10 years, I have grown a lot as a person and as a literary writer and decided to re-write my most famous book. Obviously the original Ride the Waves has my heart-that's my baby!-but looking at it now, from a mature lens, I could really do the story more justice by reimagining it. This is exactly what this is. Ride the Waves: author's edit. Same story line, same loved characters, but better writing. Hope you enjoy) Blurb: Ride the waves; It's a surfing term. Surfers paddle out to catch waves. They wait for a really good, high, strong wave, then they surf it into shore. When you ride a wave, it's not your power propelling you, it's the strength of the natural phenomenon. So to ride a wave metaphorically is to go with something already happening. For seventeen-year-old Nina, surviving has never felt like riding a wave. After losing her best friend and nearly losing herself, she's just trying to stay afloat. As she navigates the turbulent waters of grief, first love, and senior year, Nina begins to find her rhythm again. But some waves carry secrets beneath their surface. And when the truth finally crashes over her, everything she thought she knew will be swept away.
