Cynthia Jenner Ellin is a teenage girl living in an abusive household. With two siblings under her care, Cynthia cannot afford accidents. But when Cynthia found out she had cancer, she has to learn to prep her siblings for life without her while learning to accept that soon, she would no longer exist.

Oliver Matthew Ellin is a middle schooler living in an abusive household. He's caring and observant. Oliver loves Cynthia as a friend, sister and mother. Bu t when he found out Cynthia has cancer, he must take care of one sister and move on without the other.
