I was exactly the kind of girl those type of "people" liked to show who's boss. Ya, I've been labeled as a Jesus Freak, a Comic Book Nerd, and just a plain out Geek. Did it bother me? Not so much any more. My freshman year of high school, all I wanted to be was a jerk just like them. It took me until my junior year to find real friends. Friends who accepted me for who I was and even shared in my beliefs.

[ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn. The group went silent, all holding their breathes as Wukong rotated the urn in his hand. He still kept his old crush next to him. [LMK x F!Reader]
