Up raising novelist Dazai spends his time in the library (a little too much), frequently writing and reading. Before a redhead comes in one day, which then turns into frequent visits, the two seem to catch each other's eye eventually, (one before the other)
First the two don't notice who the other is, till it leads to Chuuya reading his favorite book in the presence of said book's author. Till Dazai is writing with help and inspiration of his favorite band, with the said band's lead singer in the same space
