Eccentric billionaire and adventuer Sir Reginald Hargreeves decided to find and adopt as many of the children as he could.

Reginald Hargreeves entered Cordelia's room. The whole family was standing over her. "Extraordinary."

He extended his hand towards the baby. "How much do you want?"

And so he adopted eight of them.
