Oscar Piastri is in his second year with McLaren Racing and is proving himself to be a major talent on the track, but his relationship with his teammate Lando Norris is rocky, with the older driver winding him up at every opportunity. Oscar is shy and focused in comparison to Lando who can be moody and emotional in his approach to racing, and this annoys Lando, especially as he has made mistakes this season which have allowed Oscar to catch him in the championship.
Adora is straight out of a toxic relationship and trying to rebuild her life. She isn't looking for a relationship, trust issues making her wary of men, but Oscar's kind and gentle ways have caught her eye.
The two bump into each other at a couple of races but when Oscar sees Adora at a photoshoot, they discover they have a lot more in common than they thought and so begins a friendship that carries on via text and FaceTime for weeks. As the flirting heats up, he finds himself desperate to see her again. Are they just friends or could it be more than that?
Lando is determined to undermine his teammate and regain the upperhand on the track and Adora's turbulent past could be just what he's looking for to cause trouble....
