"There is a light, I feel it in me But only, it seems, when the dark surrounds me" "The world ended, and I never got the chance to scream." Nova Grimes doesn't speak. She never had, she doesn't think she ever will. Not before the outbreak, and definitely not after. And certainly not when she's told that her father was dead, and that they had to leave in search of refuge. The dead walk, the living struggle, and Nova's once safe world has been shattered. Until one day, a man walks into their camp, a man who seems haunted, broken. A man who Nova thought she would never see again. And suddenly, Nova's world is louder than it had ever been before. --- TWD X FEM!OC Started - 12/08/24 Published - 17/03/25 Finished - tiktok - dragoneyeswp

You met Maggie Greene at NYU: you were studying fine arts, she was studying agricultural sciences. She was finishing up undergrad while you were finishing your masters. Maggie being from the South and you being from the North, your world views were vastly different; that's probably why you clicked so well. You both graduated in May, the world fell in August. You had no one, and so you drove as far and fast as you could, knowing if there was anyone you could turn to, it was Maggie. While on the Greene Family Farm, you meet ex-sheriffs deputy Rick Grimes, aiding in saving his son's life. He couldn't thank you enough. There's a pang in your chest, as you learn a lesson on patience- the fact that good things take time. ~I DO NOT CLAIM TO OWN TWD OR ANY OF ITS CHARACTERS~
