Jaune Arc's dreams of becoming a Huntsman are shattered when he is expelled from Beacon Academy for using fake transcripts. With his aspirations crushed and his future uncertain, Jaune returns home, grappling with regret and a deep sense of failure. Despite his family's unwavering support, he feels lost and unsure of his path.

One fateful night, as Jaune contemplates his next steps and wishes for a chance to prove his worth, an ethereal light fills his room, and a mysterious, translucent screen appears before him. It introduces itself as the GOD System, a Cultivation Gaming System designed to help him grow stronger and become a hero of true greatness. The GOD System offers Jaune an opportunity to earn experience points known as Divinity by completing tasks set by gods from various pantheons.

Jaune learns that the world he knows is just one of many, and he has been chosen to help gods from different realms in their time of need. He is not alone in this journey; three other individuals, each with their own GOD System, are also selected to undertake this monumental quest. Together, they must face challenges beyond their wildest imaginations, spanning multiple worlds and facing deities, monsters, and trials that will test their resolve, strength, and heroism.

As Jaune embarks on this new path, his journey shifts from that of a Huntsman to that of a Slayer, destined to protect not just his world but many others. With the guidance of the GOD System, he will strive to become the hero he was always meant to be, forging his legacy across the multiverse and standing tall among the divine.All Rights Reserved

Jaune had never actually come into the school properly he had to fake his way in, thanks to his family never training him, but that's a story for another day. After that, if one had to call his life a living hell, then it would not have been far off. He was abused, harassed, tormented, and even nearly killed multiple times. The worst part about it was that the Professors let this happened, they further added more difficulties to his problems by making sure to let the students do what they wanted. Only Ozpin was by his side, but how much could he have handled him, given that he was handling everyone all at the same time. He was no god to do everything by himself. Now where was his family, well it turns out aside from never training him, they even had the gall to disown him despite everything he had done for them, they never encouraged him and they never helped him, he tried contacting them, but they had never responded. One day, a usual hellish day for Jaune, Glynda asks Jaune to face off against Cardin, he was initially been beaten nearly to death, as the crowd cheered for Cardin, Jaune looked around, seeing that everyone hated him, even his own former team cheered for his demise. Something swelled in him, something dangerous, and when once released, he will show them what fear really is. Jaune Arc was never the strongest, but he had the will and determination to pursue his goal no matter what he faced. Though that all changed when after saving the bully who made his life miserable, he decided to reveal that Jaune faked his way into beacon and soon he lost everything. His friends abandoned him, his family disowned him, and everybody tried their best to turn his life into a living hell. He was soon left beaten and broken in the middle of a forest in mistral to be killed by the grimm, but that never happened. A mysterious person happened to stumble upon him and saw the potential that he carried and thus changed Jaune's destiny, for the better or for the worst. Following Jaune's demise, he was forced out of Beacon and abandoned by everyone who knew him because his fake transcripts were leaked into the public world. Jaune was transported into the Mortal Kombat universe, where he became one of the most skilled warriors amongst the Lin Kuei. After he refused to aid Kronika and was sent into the void, Jaune escaped alongside Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Fujin. Now, he and his allies must travel back in time and save the timeline. But Jaune will realize that not all people are who they appear to be. (Important: The original creator of this story is Arcanus the Scribe. He and I were planning on rewriting it together. However, he is currently struggling with personal issues and has allowed me to continue it.)

Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.
