"Lex, I don't know how much longer I can do this."

I look at him with furrowed eyebrows and a confused look on my face. "Do what?"

He takes two steps towards me before he answers, "Pretend that I don't want you."

Will Wright and Alexis Barker have been best friends since they were born, and have stuck with each other despite going to rival schools. In fact, their families have a long history with each other, their moms being best friends ever since they were little.
