Beside her, Hurricanepool tensed. "They must be coming along soon."
"They'd better." Bloodstar growled. "Or some cat is losing its head."

Despite that, he was surprised when the current deputy of the clan told him he wanted Tigercall to take his place when he retired. Along with his fear he wouldn't be a good fit for the position he has to deal with sudden hostility from his best friend. Tigercall is anxious about the clan's future and can only hope that all his troubles will fade away soon. (A/N: This story is based heavily on Erin Hunter's "Warriors" series but it includes some things gathered from ideas of other fans as well as my own "headcanons" for the world.
