Orion, an angel created to become a council member by Archangel Lilith herself is stuck in a difficult position when he finds himself falling in love with a human.
Forced to choose between the one he loves or his own people he tries to keep both. In an attempt to hide his sin and keep up his appearances in the academy still while spending time with his human lover down on earth his actions get sloppy and as if betraying himself, his own actions get him caught.

Now forced to face the actions of his consequences, Orion assumes the worst possible outcome is his execution. In hopes that his friend Cicely will get his human lover to saftey while Orion goes through his trials he's proven terribly wrong when his punishment is revealed.

A punishment that he himself created for sinners such as himself, a punishment that he'd have nightmares about, a punishment he hoped wouldn't pass the law.
