The Dnanleri, now a target of the Dakunas, must begin to change not only how the ship moves throughout the sectors but also its purpose as well. The Captain's story, now exposed to her crew, will begin to take front and center with the sectors' conflicts and the war with the Dakunas. For the Dnanleri to continue to survive in the sectors and solve the mysteries behind the Dakunas invasion, allies will need to be sought out. But with the Airaglu destroyed and the Dnanleri's reputation as a black-market vessel, what allie could the crew trust? Especially when the crew must face whether they now trust their own captain as well.
If the war against the Dakunas hopes to be won and the universe itself saved from the encroaching darkness of its death, truths will need to be found, pasts unlocked, and destinies finally embraced.
