Evelyn and Zachary, runaway orphans since 7, have been best friends all their lives. But when Zachary wants to join the Wyren, a mysterious and secretive group of people, they end up in an argument that later leads to a near-fatal car accident. But on the brink of death, they are brought upon a new life in a world that only exists to people who are given Vision: Lequenn. They are cleared of almost everything from their former lives, even their real names.

But the creatures from the planet Wyrane are a dangerous menace. They are ruthless when it comes to getting what they want. Hungry for power, Evelyn and Zachary, with the help of their new Lequennian friends might be the only ones able to stop them.
