Rising Shadows (Brynjolf/OC, Moonlight's Eclipse Sequel)

Weeks will pass, perhaps months, perhaps years-- or perhaps only hours will pass while I meet Evergloam. Warped time is all too normal in a Daedric realm, and there's no doubt Nocturnal's pocket of Oblivion is no different. Whatever I'd once imagined to be my eternity after my eventual demise-- Hircine's Hunting Grounds, Sovngarde if I'd be blessed-- has vanished. All that is left for me, for my new eternity, is unending battle.

Evergloam will be full of foes aiming to take the remnants of a Nightingale for themselves. Shrikes, formed of black blood and sheer shadow. Creatures of gloam, be it hag, wolf, or weaver. Night Terrors. Wraith-of-Crows. Watching eyes all around, from every shrouded corner and crawling crevice. They will wait, and they will strike.

All the beasts, and yet the worst will still be my mortal enemy. The inescapable presence of my most hated, most despised rival.

Mercer Frey.

My Guildmaster, my target, and finally, my executioner.

I am Russet Rouge, and if it's the last thing I do, I will find and kill Mercer-- this time, for good.

Rising Shadows (RS) is the sequel to Moonlight's Eclipse. This continues the rewritten story of Russet and Brynjolf, and I hope you enjoy!

RS takes inspiration from my original fanfic Moonlight's Embrace and all Elder Scrolls games (yes, including Arena).
