Lothar, an undead Elven hero, Anxe, a sadistic bard, and Morlimet, a studious sorcerer, defend their way of life as minions to an "ethical necromancer." While working for the Silent Lord, Tolurus, they conduct experiments, intimidate the nobility, and try to have fun while doing it.

When Morlimet is assaulted by common folk while his master is absent, Lothar and Anxe begin a quest to seek vengeance and bring the wrath of the Silent Tower down on any conspirators. Morlimet returns to his studies, only to find an errant, independent soul within his master's magnum opus, the Soul Engine.

A tragic tale of mystery and death is unfolding in a realm of superstition.

The Dwarven Sorcerer

36 parti Completa Per adulti

Every dwarf knows magic is evil. It's an insidious weapon used by only the most depraved creatures, which is why it has been outlawed in the dwarven kingdom for centuries. Thrack Durimsson has a good life; when he isn't fighting in the militia against invaders, he's digging tunnels and drinking with his mates. However, after he and several other dwarven warriors are cursed with magical powers, a new threat comes from within the caves that he has bled and killed to protect. Now, one by one the inquisition led by the ruthless Mordin are hunting down and publicly executing every dwarven wizard. In order to survive, Thrack must leave behind the only life he's ever known, escape from the underground kingdom, and navigate his way through foreign lands to find a cure that may not even exist before he is caught and killed.
