A Nightmare Brought to Life - A Five Nights at Freddy's Fan-made Short Story

In this retelling of the events of the first five games, 'A Nightmare Brought to Life' follows Michael Afton after he runs away from his abusive household; confident to start a new life in the quiet town of Hurricane, Utah. First thing he needs, however, is a job -- but nobody wants a 17-year-old runaway. Nobody except a slightly run down pizzeria place; Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. As he starts there, working as a janitor from 9pm-12am, he meets the local security guard in charge of taking care of the place overnight, Jeremy Fitzgerald. The two become well acquainted over the following weeks, then seemingly out of nowhere Michael is offered a job promotion; to take the role of security guard.
Believing to have been hired alongside his friend, Michael arrives to his new shift early to meet the security guard and deliver the good news. However, after he doesn't show up Michael decides to look around the establishment. As Michael wanders the empty floors, he begins to see and hear things; the twitching of one of the animatronics fingers, cluttering in the kitchen, a few seconds of a pirate theme. Nothing compares to what he finds inside the storage closet however, and how it will change his life forever.
