Natalie Stark was on track to graduate a year early from Raccoon University, the #1 school in the nation for Criminal Justice.  Upon starting an internship at the R.P.D. five months ago, when she wasn't on campus, she was hanging out with her older brother at their apartment or the fire station. When she wasn't there, she was spending time with Jill Valentine and the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team at the police department. At least until Chief Irons' disbanded them.  But at the end of September, which is supposed to be the start of her junior year, it now feels like the end of her life.

Leon Kennedy just graduated from the Police Academy with an assignment to the Raccoon City Police Department. He was beyond ready to get back to his life-long best friend, Joseph Stark... and to see Joey's younger sister, Natalie. But when Leon got a call to stay away a week before his first day, he got concerned, even more so when neither of them were returning his calls. Beyond worried, he set off to investigate, unknowing of the horrors that await him.

When he runs into her on the chaotic, death-filled streets of RC,  they have to work together to find her brother and make it out of the city. For Leon, he wasn't planning on protecting the girl he's been purposefully avoiding for almost a year. For Natalie, even though the last person she expected to survive with is her years-long crush, she has a brother to find and names to remember of those she's lost. 

Will they make it out? Or will they end up just like everyone else... dead... at least until you rise again?
