The bowl of mashed potatoes sat untouched in the corner. Suddenly a face appeared in the lukewarm bowl of disgusting purple potatoes. It was Cornelius. Somehow after 7 months he had managed to reincarnate himself, since he used to be a demonic pentagon shape. But the bigger question was, how had he found me? 


The slimy substance proceeded to crawl out of the fragile China dish, and start in the direction of my body. "Nuh uh uh. Not today Cornelius!", I grabbed a  prized katana sword from my backpack and chopped him to smithereens in all of about 30 seconds, yet somehow I still don't feel safe...

It was now nighttime and I returned to my room which was very dark. The curtains were closed, strange I'm sure it was open this morning... Whatever. I put my bag down and went straight into the shower. I didn't spend a long time inside cause I was very tired and wanted to sleep. It was an exhausting day, I searched for some work, but like usual I failed... I sighted. I went out of the bathroom with only a towel around my waist and started to sit down when someone pushed me into the floor. Shit! Who was that? What did he want? I was very afraid and I had a lot of question passing my mind in this few seconds but didn't want to submit to my aggressor. I groaned and tried to get myself up, but he... Yeah, he was too strong and big to be she... Put his knee on my back and started to tie my hands together with some rope. Was he trying to kidnap or tie me? I froze in fear for a few seconds and stopped moving. I suppose he let his guard down since I stopped struggling, so I took this chance and flipped us over. It was now my turn to be on top and somehow succeeded to untie myself. I was lucky he didn't have time to fully tie me yet, so it was kind of easy. It was dark, so I couldn't see his face, but I still put my hands around his throat and started to strangle him a bit. 'W-Who are you and w-what do y-you want?' I asked trying to hide my fear that I miserably failed. '...' He still didn't respond, I was starting to loose control on myself. His silence was killing me and I started to shake in fear. Then he spoke and caught all my attention: 'You're so cute when you're afraid pet.' I froze, I recognized this voice and my fear turned to be true. All the struggling to escape, to disappear, to forget about him now came back in an instant. I was now trembling constantly losing all control of my body, my hand lets go of the man throat and all I could do was shakily say: 'Dimitri...' THIS IS A BOYXBOY STORY, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Father was lounging in his chair, his legs up against the armrest. He smirked at me as I come in. "Did you like my present?" I glower. "Oh yes. Very thoughtful of you. Sending an assassin to kill your son." Father laughs. "You should've been more careful. And it took you so long to send it back." I grit my teeth. "Oh don't be mad. You need to sharpen your skills. Whatever skills you do have." I stay silent, grounding my fist into my thigh. Father leans back against his chair, folding his hands. "So. Have you made any progress?" I stare at the ground. Father frowns. "Are you serious? You are my son. It should not be this hard to do. A couple nations enslaved, others annihilated, I don't see what the problem is." I glare at him. "Firstly, I don't have any resources or weapons. And the humans speak a completely different language I don't even know. Secondly, how the Djinn am I gonna get the energy to do all that?" Father cocks his head. "Improvise." I'm going to re-write this story seeing as I'm not completely satisfied with how this turned out, so stay tuned!

I use the blade to slice the ropes binding my wrists and before Davis has time to call for help, I knock him out with one swing of the weapon. His unconscious form slumps to the ground and lays motionless at my feet. I grimace. He's going to have a huge lump on his head when he comes around. "Sorry Davis," I whisper and I take off into the woods. Peter Pan brought me to Neverland for a reason, but he's forgotten one very important detail. I've been here before.

I knew what I had to do. I knew it had to be now. It wasn't long before I could hear the footsteps daunting my thoughts, my mind was going crazy, fear was lurking inside of me. I screamed as he grabbed me, natural instincts got me kicking at the monster behind the mask, but he threw me against the wall. I knew what he was going to do to me, it's been the same for 2 weeks, as if yesterday was repeating itself.

"Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. Blessed with an ability that scared others, she roams the wild with only her guarded one. That is until she stumbles into a situation that brings her in front of a prince.
